This yarn is a blend of 72% Kid Mohair and 28% Mulberry Silk.
It is a lovely brushed single yarn, also known as "kidsilk". As the meterage of this 50g skein is similar to that of a standard 100g 4-ply, this yarn perfect for holding double with your favourite 4-ply (fingering yarn) to create a yarn close to a 5-ply (sport) weight. The resulting fabric will have a warm and lightly fuzzy halo.
It is a lovely undyed (bare) yarn ready for hand dying.
