A rare mountain, hill breed from England's Pennine Mountains, the fibre of the Whiteface Woodland sheep is 35-38 micron and 100mm in length. Following the breed's listing as endangered by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, it has seen a bit of a resurgence, but it is still rare.
This fibre dyes beautifully and felts well.
